What customers say?

“ This is my first time here. I was looking for lunch around Yokohama Station and found this restaurant which apparently has delicious hamburgers and has good reviews. Perhaps because it was after 1pm on a weekday, about half the seats were empty and I was able to sit down right away. The atmosphere of the restaurant is truly Western. However, it wasn't too busy and had a calm, European-style cafe feel, so I was able to relax. I had the popular Tsubame-style hamburger steak and tomato farci salad. A large hamburger steak was placed in a rich beef stew. The beef stew was filled with chunks of beef and the hamburger steak was very delicious. The tomato was a whole one. It was peeled and the stem was hollowed out, with a little salad stuffed inside. The dressing had a nostalgic taste, similar to Kewpie's red French dressing. ”

“ Someboday reviewed as Japanized western restaurant, I believe it’s true it has the european ambient, a cozy restaurant where its customer has its class... Great taste of food, although it’s not aunthentic european cuisine, but it has unique taste and right combination of sour, sweet, salty and bitter, worth a try... ”

“ For lunch, I had a set of hamburger steak, rice, salad, soup, and a drink. The sauce was delicious. I guess it depends on your taste, but unfortunately the hamburger steak wasn't juicy inside. ”

“ I stopped by when I was in Yokohama. I got in at 11:30 on a Saturday with barely any wait time. I ordered the Tsubame-style hamburg steak and the Japanese-style hamburg steak. I also ordered bread and rice. The bread was delicious. It goes better with rice, but the bread was delicious. I tried both, but since I was at Tsubame Grill, I had to go with the Tsubame-style. The rich, deep beef stew goes well with both rice and bread. The Japanese-style is tangy and delicious, but I think the Tsubame-style is the only choice. ”

“ This restaurant has been around forever and many locals know it. The lunch Hamburg set is plenty of food with a delicious whole tomato salad that I've never seen before. The Hamburg has bits of beef stew mixed in the foil packet that makes it soooo worth it. I still love Hungry Tiger, but I would bargain this place is just as good--if not, better! ”

“ It was lunchtime on a Saturday, but we were able to get in without any hassle. Everything was delicious. The hamburger was just average, the cold appetizers were simply delicious, and the country pâté was especially worth trying. The country pâté had a nice, tangy flavor, and the fat around it was exquisite. I was captivated by the deliciousness of the pâté, so I tried it at other places, but it didn't come close. I think Tsubame Grill's country pâté is the best. (This is just my opinion.) I liked the side dishes (sauerkraut in the cold appetizers and cold herring coleslaw)—they were just my taste. Not too salty, but well-seasoned and well-seasoned. The bread for the soup set was a Pompadour baguette (it wasn't clearly labeled, but it was on the shelf). I wasn't expecting much from the soup, since it was part of the set, but it was rich and delicious. It contained shrimp and scallops. There's a Tsubame DELI in Char, but it only sells hamburgers, Neapolitan pasta, and tomato salad. I'll probably return for the cold appetizers. ”

“ Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable. The beef burger was a bit dry and not as juicy or tender as expected, but everything else was good. Prices have also gone up slightly compared to last year. ”

“ This is a memorable restaurant where my mother would often take me for lunch when we came to Yokohama Station as a child. It brought back memories of me shouting in my head, "I'm eating something so stylish right now!" while eating a tomato farci salad filled with salad, and nervously opening the foil wrapping of a baked hamburger steak with a knife. The restaurant's slightly classical atmosphere remains almost unchanged, bringing back memories of nostalgia, and the cute swallow stained-glass windows. I visited for lunch on a weekday, and it was as popular as ever, with a five-minute wait before I was allowed through. It was striking that the clientele was mostly adults. I'm grateful that it's still around! Thank you for the meal. ”
